An official reception was held in honor of the prime minister and the two leaders held a session of talks, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The prime minister arrived in Riyadh earlier on Wednesday for a state visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
Sharif was received at King Khalid International Airport by Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz.
